"Kingdom Presence" Seminar at NG
Pastor Jay West will present a seminar titled “Kingdom Presence” this Saturday, November 1st beginning at 3:00 pm at Neutral Groundz Coffee House, 147 S. 6th Street in Seward. Feel free to invite friends!
Pastor Jay West is a graduate of Concordia College, served within the LCMS for 15 years and now with 28 years of ministry, he travels full time – teaching and leading seminars in over 800 churches in 52 different denominations, in America. He is a guest teacher and seminar presenter at two of the larger LCMS churches in Omaha, along with many other LCMS churches throughout the country. Jay’s wife Diane is a 1982 graduate from Concordia College and is a teacher at a local Christian School in Bellevue, Nebraska.
Jay is also a frequent presenter for youth and young adult student events at many churches and student led organizations where he speaks to young people about God, and their commitment to Him. He has many amazing true stories about the power of God, coupled with sound biblical principles and scriptures that back up the teaching and validate what God is doing and saying today. Jay is able to effectively communicate the Bible in a way that is easily understood and that often produces a response from people as they encounter God and press in for more of His “Kingdom Presence”

But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, "In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires." These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.
But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
Be merciful to those who doubt; snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.
To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
Jude 1:17-25

Grub & Guitar Night
Don't worry...you don't have to cook for this one!!! Grub & Guitar Night will be Saturday, February 16th at Coffee House time and will have three main events.
First off we'll be serving chili dogs all evening...we need a volunteer or two to help with cooking the dogs that night.
The second event will be an evening of CU student (and maybe some other) Guitarists to entertain us...know someone who wants to play? Contact Charlotte to sign them up.
Thirdly, the evening will fulfill a challenge Jay West and family gave to CU...for every CU student that comes that night to NG, signs in with an email address and stays for at least an hour the West family will donate $1 for the University's latest drive for funds. (200 CU students = $200 etc.)
We anticipate this being a VERY BUSY event so anyone who can stay that night to help would be appreciated!
